CopperItUp is knitted from top to bottom in one piece. The top becomes wider by increasements (M1R/L) and is finished with a bind off in rib. Finally, a cord of any kind is added, either a thick cord or the cord can be knitted in the same materials as the top.
Needles
Circular needle size 3.5 mm and (optional) double pointed needle size 3.5 (to tube cord)
Gauge: Needle size 3.5 mm with two threads in stockinette st: 10 x 10 cm = 20 sts x 31 r
Sizes
XS (S) M (L) XL – the top can easily be altered to fit different body types
Chest circumference (widest place, measured on own body): 80-84 (85-90) 91-95 (96-100) 101-110 cm
Armpit to armpit over the chest, measured on own body: 40-42 (42-45) 45-48 (48-50) 50-55 cm
Ease (negative): 10 cm, ie. 10 cm is drawn from your measurements on your own body, after which you choose the circumference below that fits these measurements. So, if, for example, you measure 45 cm over the chest (from armpit to armpit), a size small would be fitting considering the measurements of the work and ease.
Width of work across the chest, measured flat on a surface: 32 (36) 40 (42) 44 cm
Length of the top: approx. 30 (32) 35 (35) 38 cm (easy to adjust according to your own needs)
Yarn:
100 (100) 100 (100) 100 g Lammy Lurex (25 g = 160 m) i.e. 25 g of each color. The top is knitted in two threads, so you can also choose to buy two of each color - instead of making two balls of each individual yarn ball.
