CopperItUp is knitted from top to bottom in one piece. The top becomes wider by increasements (M1R/L) and is finished with a bind off in rib. Finally, a cord of any kind is added, either a thick cord or the cord can be knitted in the same materials as the top. CopperItUp has a gauge/tension which can be easily matched with other yarns (e.g. cotton) than the selected one.

Needle size 3.5 mm – or a circular needle (not necessary) and/or double pointed needle size 3.5 (to tube cord)

Gauge/tension: Needle size 3.5 mm: 10 cm = approx. 24 sts

XS (S) M (L)

Chest circumference (widest place, measured on own body): 80-84 (85-90) 91-95 (96-100) cm

Armpit to armpit over the chest, measured on own body: 40-42 (42-45) 45-48 (48-50) cm

Ease (negative): 5-10 cm, ie. 5-10 cm is drawn from your measurements on your own body, after which you choose the circumference below that fits these measurements. So, if, for example, you measure 45 cm above the chest (from armpit to armpit), a size small would be appropriate in relation to the measurements of the  work and ease.

The width of the work, measured flat on a surface: 32 (36) 40 (42) cm

My ClaraTop in the picture above is knitted in a size small and my measurements are 90 cm over the chest and 76 cm around the waist.

4 different types of yarn balls of Lammy Lurex to make the stripes on my top. The top weighs between 35 and 50 g which is approx. 2 (2) 2 (2) identical yarn balls (25 g = approx. 160 m)

There are many good yarn alternatives, as mica yarn might scratch a little - for example, it can be replaced with ordinary cotton yarn with a similar tension.
